The Bunnry Rabbit class worked on a science project called the "Water Sandwich". They used materials that included corn syrup, maple syrup, water, and cooking oil. The children took turns pouring the liquids into the cup then watched from the side to see what would happen. They learned that the liquids have different densities so they seperated into layers. The oil was less dense so it floated to the top. The corn syrup and maple syrup is more dense so it sank to the bottom. The water remained in the middle creating a water sandwich. |
